Tribal TANF
The Torres-Martinez Tribal Consortium has assumed authority for providing cash benefits and employment services for Native American Indian families in the County of Los Angeles.  Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) provides welfare services to needy Indian families in the same fashion as the County of Los Angeles, including job-readiness training, assistance in finding a job, and supportive services to enable Native American Indians to leave the program and become self-sufficient.
